National Quality Award

The National Quality Awards are organized by KalDer together with TÜSİAD. National Quality Award assessments are based on the EFQM Excellence Model used in European Quality Award and are carried out by a team of assessors who are trained on the Model and Self Assessment. The details of this assessment process going on for approximately 10 months can be obtained from KalDer or can be followed from the official KalDer web page. The aim of the Award Process is deploying the Organizational Excellence approach through out Turkey, finding out the successful examples and sharing the experiences. The Award Process that has been led by KalDer since 1993 has made great contribution to the development of consciousness of TQM in Turkey. The awards are given in two categories, namely for Large Enterprises and Small-Medium Enterprises. Moreover, aiming to attract public organisations’ attention to the quality movement, KalDer has announced, the Public Sector category to be given in the year 2001.
